Saylorville Lake Halloween Prowl

3:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Pre-School Age

7:00 – 9:00 p.m. – Grade School Age

Johnston, Iowa - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Saylorville Lake announces the Annual Halloween Prowl at the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center.  Bring the youngsters for a real treat.  Activities will include a hike on the haunted nature trail, a movie with treats and an indoor craft project.  The trail will be haunted with creatures that have an environmental message to share with visitors.  Wear a costume of your own if you like! For those not so fond of the dark a pre-school version of the Prowl starts at 3:00 p.m.  The grade school version of the prowl will start at 7:00 p.m.  There is no fee for attending, but Pre-Registration is required.  Please register by calling the Administration Office at (515) 276-4656 or the Visitor Center at (515) 964-0672.  The Saylorville Lake Visitor Center is located off Highway 415 on Horseshoe Road seven miles north of Des Moines.
