Oak Grove Beach at Saylorville Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District has opened Oak Grove Beach as a designated beach. The beach is open 6am to 9pm daily and day-use fees will not be collected.

With the opening of Oak Grove Beach a number of posted rules and regulations will be enforced by park rangers. These posted rules include: no alcohol, no pets, no bottles or glass, no fires, and no motorized vehicles.

As a designated beach, the area surrounding Oak Grove Beach is designated as a no boat area. Swim area buoys and lines are placed to remind visitors it is safest to swim within the swim area. Please remember to wear life jackets, swim with a buddy, and keep an eye on children at all times. It takes only seconds for a child to drown.

Sandpiper will remain a scenic viewing area. Visitors are reminded that this area is no alcohol or and fires are not allowed.
