Saylorville Lake has one designated swim beach. Named Oak Grove Beach and it is located on the East side of the lake just off of Hwy 415 near Prairie Flower Campground. Oak Grove Beach is a alcohol free and zone for a safer swimming area. Running water is provided at faucets and restroom facilities are available when officially open. The beach has a tree of life, where users may grab a personal floatation device and use it to aid in swimming. Please remember to return the personal floatation device so the next visitor may use it.

At Sandpiper Boat Ramp, Oak Grove Beach and the Saylorville Lake Marina you will find these life Jacket Loaner Stations.  These jackets are free of charge for use. There are four different sized jackets available: adult, child, youth and infant.  Choose the jacket that fits you or your child correctly and simply return it to the station when you leave!
