Features

South Overlook Boat Ramp has three lanes.

Parking is available for approx. 50 vehicles with trailers attached in the paved lot. Additional parking is available in the gravel overflow lot for approx. 56 vehicles with trailers and 25 non-tow vehicles.

South Overlook Boat Ramp has a courtesy dock in place seasonally as conditions allow.

South Overlook Boat Ramp is closed at elevation 760 feet or over.

Day-Use Fees

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers managed boat ramps such as South Overlook, Marina Cove, Whitebreast, and Howell Station Landing boat ramps all require payment of a daily use fee of $5.00 unless posted otherwise.

Registered campers from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers managed campgrounds are not required to pay day-use fees at beaches or boat ramps if displaying a camping pass found at campground fee booths.

Annual Pass

Purchasing an Annual Pass permits a visitor to use U.S. Army Corps of Engineers managed swimming beaches and boat ramps without further charge for one year.

Annual Passes can be purchased for $40.00 at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers managed campground fee booths or the Lake Red Rock Project Office.

Discounts

Golden Age/Access and America the Beautiful Senior/Access card holders may use beaches and boat ramps free of charge.
