Come watch the eagles soar around Saylorville Lake!

 

Four driving tour locations around Saylorville Lake include the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center, Cottonwood Recreation Area, Bob Shetler Recreation Area and Jester Park Lodge. The tour includes outdoor observation locations with spotting scopes and naturalists available for questions.  Saylorville Lake Visitor Center will be showing an eagle movie in the theater with eagle mounts and trivia facts.  Jester Park Lodge will be presenting a LIVE EAGLE presentation every hour on the hour starting at 1:00pm and the last presentation starting at 3:00pm. 

 

Visitors can pick up an Eagle Watch Passport and Map at any of the stops and drop off a completed passport at your last stop for a chance to win a prize!  Coffee will be provided at the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center

 

The Saylorville Lake Visitor Center is located on the east end of the dam, off Highway 415 on Horseshoe Road.  For more information, contact the Saylorville Lake Administration Office at 515-276-4656.
