Rock Island District Locations

The Rock Island District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers administers federal water resource programs in a 78,000 square-mile area encompassing the eastern two-thirds of Iowa, the northern half of Illinois and portions of southern Wisconsin and Minnesota, and the northeast corner of Missouri. This area includes 314 miles of the Mississippi River, 269 miles of the Illinois Waterway and their tributaries, and 197,000 acres of federal land.

Visiting the USACE Rock Island District

The USACE Rock Island District headquarters is located in the Clock Tower Building on the west end of the Rock Island Arsenal on an island in Rock Island, Illinois. When using GPS, the best address to use is: 1500 Rock Island Drive, Rock Island, IL.

SECURITY CHECK
Visitors to USACE Rock Island District Headquarters (Clock Tower Building), Mississippi River Visitor Center or Locks and Dam 15 must access the Rock Island Arsenal via the Moline Gate located near River Drive and 16th St. in Moline, Illinois.
