PLEASANT VALLEY, Iowa – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mississippi River Project announces the auxiliary lock at Locks and Dam 14 in Pleasant Valley, Iowa, will not be opening Memorial Day weekend as scheduled due to Spring flooding.
Recreational boaters wishing to lock through will be permitted to use the main lock chamber until the auxiliary lock can be opened.
