    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, announces a full road closure to Highway T15 across the Red Rock Dam October 7. The closure will begin at 8 a.m. and continue throughout the day. The closure is necessary for the ongoing rehabilitation project on the Red Rock Dam gates. Additional partial and full road closures may be needed throughout 2025.   • Lakeview Highwater Boat Ramp Closed During Construction

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, announces the Lakeview Highwater Boat Ramp at Saylorville Lake will be closed Oct. 13-17 due to ongoing construction in the area. There will be no access to the Saylorville Lake Administration Office or the Lakeview Highwater Boat Ramp during this time.   • High Water Causes Boat Ramp Closures at Saylorville Lake

    For public safety, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, has closed the Cherry Glen Lower Boat Ramp and Oak Grove Beach Access at Saylorville Lake due to rising water levels caused by heavy rains in the Des Moines River watershed. These closures will remain in effect until lake levels recede, and the areas can be cleaned and safely reopened.
