Rock Island District Regulatory Workshop



The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, Regulatory Division is hosting a free regulatory workshop July 31, 2025. Join us for a full day to discover how the USACE Regulatory Program is leveraging innovation and streamlining processes to support mission success.

This workshop brings together Regulatory experts, as well as federal, state and local partners and industry consultants, to share insights, network and learn about the latest USACE Regulatory policies, updates and best practices. It will also cover information on A+ Applications, jurisdictional determinations, mitigation strategies, permit types/exemptions/exclusions and a demonstration of the new Regulatory Request System (RRS).

Parking:
Parking is available at the Iowa Events Center with entrances off 3rd Street and 5th Avenue. If traveling from I-235 East, take Exit 8A to 3rd Street. If traveling from I-235 West, take Exit 8A to 7th Street. Meter parking is also available throughout downtown Des Moines with the convenience of the ParkDSM app. City parking garages are also located through downtown with convenient skywalk access to the Iowa Events Center.
