3:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Pre-schoolers

6:00 - 8:00 p.m. – Grade School Age

 

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces the annual Halloween Prowl at the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center. Activities will include a hike on the haunted nature trail, a Halloween movie showing, and an indoor craft.  The trail will be haunted with creatures that have an environmental message to share. Wear a costume of your own if you like! Meet at the Visitor Center at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27.  For those who are not so fond of the dark, meet at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27 for a pre-school version of the Prowl.  Pre-registration is required.  Call the Visitor Center at (515) 964-0672. The Saylorville Lake Visitor Center is located off Highway 415 on Horseshoe Road seven miles north of Des Moines.
