QUINCY, Illinois -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, is restricting visitor access to Lock and Dam 21 in Quincy, Illinois, as it has closed due to road construction. The visitor area, including the observation platform, parking lot and restroom facility will not be accessible during construction. Construction is expected to last through October.
