ROCK ISLAND, Illinois -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, and Nahant Marsh Education Center will host two public open house events, Oct. 19, from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. to showcase the center’s updated master plan, provide opportunities for engagement and gather feedback from the community.
Both events will be held at the Nahant Marsh Education Center at 4220 Wapello Ave, Davenport, IA 52802. A virtual option will also be available during the later event from 5-7 p.m. via the online WebEx platform. The Nahant Marsh Education Center’s new master plan revises a 1998 version providing an outline for potential future improvements, projects and objectives. The public is invited to provide feedback and comments on the updated plan through Nov. 19.
