Sabula Lakes Project

The Sabula Lakes project is a habitat restoration effort designed to improve water quality and structural diversity in the Upper and Middle Sabula Lakes in Pool 13 of the Mississippi River.

Over time, habitat within the Sabula Lakes has degraded due to an excessive population of invasive species, low aquatic habitat diversity and shallow water depths.

The estimated total cost of this project is greater than $10 million.
