Picnic Shelter Areas at Saylorville Lake

Shelter reservations can be made through the National Recreation Reservation Service for all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recreation facilities at the following website: www.recreation.gov or by calling toll-free 1-877-444-6777.

May 1 - September (Labor Day): 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. 
September - October: 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.

All picnic areas have restrooms, water & playgrounds. Unless otherwise noted, each shelter has volleyball uprights (no net), a fireplace, group grill, lighting, 4 electric outlets (20 amp) and 10 picnic tables (Sandpiper has 35 tables and 10 electric outlets). All shelters are available on a first come basis for free, when not reserved.
