Saylorville Lake

Swimming at Saylorville Lake

Oak Grove Beach is the only designated swim beach at Saylorville Lake. It is located on the east side of the lake just off Hwy 415 near Prairie Flower Campground. For safety, Oak Grove Beach is an alcohol free zone. Running water is provided at faucets and restroom facilities are available when open for the season. A life jacket loaner station is available with personal floatation devices that can be returned after use.

FEE FOR BEACH USE (OAK GROVE): $5.00 (per vehicle)

Life Jacket Loaner Station

Life jacket loaner stations can be found at Oak Grove Beach as well as the Sandpiper Boat Ramp and Saylorville Lake Marina. Personal flotation devices found on these station are free for temporary visitor use and should be returned at the end of the day. Multiple sized jackets are available and it is importance that users choose a jacket that fits properly for use.
