NESP Events

A groundbreaking ceremony was held April 12, 2023 for the Lock and Dam 14 Mooring Cell project on the Mississippi River.
The USACE Rock Island District hosted and Industry Day, May 17, 2023, to inform potential contractors about the Lock and Dam 22 Fish Passage Project near Hannibal, Missouri.

PROGRAM PARTNERS

Federal, state, local, non-governmental organizations, Tribal Nations, and the public all play vital role in NESP implementation. The partners listed below participate in regional programmatic efforts of NESP as well as  participate in the planning, design, construction, management, and monitoring of NESP projects. Some agencies, organizations, and Tribal Nations may also participate on a project-by-project basis, providing a wide array of expertise and resource awareness.

The Corps is currently working to develop a necessary NESP Advisory Panel which will provide independent guidance in the development of reports and project identification.
