FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Big Creek State Park Road Closure
Road repairs will begin on NW Big Creek Drive across the Big Creek Dam on Monday, September 23rd. This section of road will remain closed to all through traffic until the repairs have been completed. Completion date is anticipated to be Friday, October 4th.
Areas signed as construction zones are restricted to authorized construction personnel and vehicles only. See attached detour route for access to Big Creek State Park.
Current lake information including lake levels, releases, and area closures are available by calling 515-276-0433. Lake level information and predictions can also be accessed at www.rivergages.com. Saylorville Lake is in the Rock Island District, Des Moines River Basin.
