IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, will seal the roadway across Coralville Dam July 24-28. One lane will be open with intermittent closures from West Overlook Road, across the dam, and including portions of Prairie Du Chien Road. Delays should be expected through this area.
Linder Point, West Overlook, Cottonwood, Tailwater West and Tailwater East campgrounds and all day-use areas will remain open during the sealing. However, access to these areas will be affected. All traffic should use caution when traveling through the area and use alternate routes as needed.
