New Mobile App Available from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District has released a new, free mobile application for public use on both Android and Apple internet capable mobile devices.  

This new app, named “USACE Rock Island,” provides easy access to river levels for five river basins located in the Rock Island District and gives users a chance to stay connected to the District’s news and social media sites. The USACE Rock Island app also offers links to online web cameras, contracting and permitting information, recreation and reservation links, job application process information, emergency operations details and river navigation charts. 

The Rock Island District developed this tool to help the public easily stay connected with valuable information that could affect their daily lives. This new app serves as a simple solution for anyone with an internet capable mobile device to quickly access the information they need from nearly anywhere in the country.
