The Mississippi River Project is full of great recreational opportunities. Hiking, biking, and paddling can all be fun ways to explore the river and see the the area from a new angle. The US Army Corps of Engineers encourages visitors to use these natural spaces for recreration however asks that you keep in mind the importance of protecting the natural resources present along the river. We also ask that you use caution whenever recreating in or near the water. Life jackets save lives but they must be worn for them to work.
